Great to get some colour in the garden.
Sorry for a late post on last weeks shohin show. This was the second Shohin UK in Bristol, it was a long wait with the first show back in 2013. It was a huge success and credit to the Coopers and the team for staging another high quality show. Well done to all that put together some super exhibits all very well presented. We need to keep up the momentum for shohin shows so where are we going next year?
Next show is the shohin UK 2
This has now become one of the best shows on the UK show calendar, and this year did not disappoint.
End of part 1
After the fun of the Noelanders weekend we left on the Monday morning for Jean-Paul Polmans garden just a 15 minute drive from Gent. Not knowing what to expect from the garden we entered through the car port and faced with a bueautiful garden layout very much in the japanese theme. The whole layout and attention to detail is so well done.
The garden is divided in half and the display benches are in the second half along with a huge work room and a covered section with large pot rack behind.
So many outstanding trees that I would love to have taken home. A huge thank you to Jean-Paul for his hospitality and alowing me to share them here. Looking forward to visiting again next year I hope.
